a modified version of Mozilla.

the enclosed sources.

However, I guarantee these binaries and sources
were produced by me, based on official Mozilla sources,
plus slected add on patches.

Please check http://wamcom.org/ for updates.

The snapshot mostly consists of
- - - - mozilla sources from the MOZILLA_1_3_BRANCH,
  including changes for Mozilla 1.3.1
- - - - using a newer snapshot of the crypto library,
  NSS_3_7_BRANCH, however, with the important
  difference to exclude portions of bug 193367,
  in order to work around bug 209166.
- - - - more than 480 fixes (from about 4600)
  that happened to the main development of Mozilla,
  after Mozilla 1.3.1 was created.
  Hopefully, the chosen set of patches improves
  stability and correctness of this snapshot.
  Please the "fixes-patches" archive.
  Patches that are in a directory named "done"
  are included.
  But check the full patch file, or even better,
  the included full -features source archive
  what is actually included.
- - - - some fixes to the Mail application, most notably 
  the "mark-as-junk-and-delete-in-one-step"
  feature.
- - - - some additional patches to other bugs,
  that have not yet landed on the trunk of Mozila,
  see the "features-patches" archive.

Linux binaries are "extract-and-run", no installed
needed. Note, however, that on first startup,
Mozilla must initialize a private registry file.
The user starting Mozilla the first time must have
write access to the Mozilla directory.

The Mac binary is disk image. Download, double click,
and run the contained Mozilla icon.

The win32.zip archive does not require installation.
Simply unzip into a (NEW!) directory of your choice,
and run the contained mozilla.exe.
Please note, never try to overwrite older directories,
always extract into a new empty directory.

The win32.exe is an installation program that
interactively installs the software on your
computer in the directory of your choice.

Please note, no guarantee can be given this software
is virus free. Please make sure you are running
a current anti-virus application.


This 2003-06-24 does not include full patches against the base, 
but an incremental patch:
  wamcom-131-fixes-diff-20030613-20030624
This patch file should apply to both a fixes or a features
tree from the 2003-06-13 release.
However, the full source archive is included.
File 20030624-fixes-patches.tar.gz extends the list of files
in 20030613-fixes-patches.tar.gz
